Following the COVID-19 infection of members of their camp, Texas groove metallers Upon A Burning Body were compelled to stop performing, as per theprp. The band provided the following explanation of the situation in a statement on August 29. On DevilDriver’s current “Strike And Kill Tour,” which features Ov Sulphur as the opening act, the band was performing as direct support. The expedition is expected to go until September 5th.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the safety of others, we will not be playing the remainder of the ‘Strike & Kill Tour“.
Some of our camp has tested positive for COVID and it just wouldn’t be right to continue putting everyone else at risk.
We are sorry, and it hurts us to not be able to play these shows. We promise to make it up to everyone soon.
Thank you for understanding.
