Unexpected reunion moment between Fieldy and Korn member

Author Benedetta Baldin - 11.2.2026

Bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, who appeared to be estranged from Korn, disclosed last year that he hadn’t communicated to his fellow members of the groundbreaking nu metal group since 2019, as per theprp. In 2021, Fieldy left the band to deal with his “bad habits,” and Ra Diaz has been filling in ever since. In the months that have passed since that interview, Fieldy’s communication channels with the rest of that group have undoubtedly been severed. Fieldy and Korn drummer Ray Luzier were pictured standing next to each other at last month’s annual NAMM convention in the Anaheim, California area. It’s unclear if this contact will have any impact on Korn‘s future, but evidence of the purported reunion may be found below.

Former L.A.P.D. members James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and David Silveria founded the American nu metal band Korn in 1993. The band is based in Bakersfield, California. Shaffer (guitar), Brian “Head” Welch (guitar), Jonathan Davis (vocals), and Ray Luzier (drums) make up their current lineup; Luzier took Silveria’s place in 2007. The group is renowned for having invented and popularized the nu metal subgenre. In 1993, Korn produced a demo tape called “Neidermayer’s Mind”, which was given away for free to record labels and to the general public upon request. Their commercial breakthrough album, “Life Is Peachy”, was published in 1996 after their debut album, “Korn”, was released in 1994.
