Former vocalist Dallas Taylor joined Florida metalcore group Underoath on December 14th for the encore of their performance commemorating the 20th anniversary of their gold-certified fourth studio album, “They’re Only Chasing Safety.” The ensemble had scheduled three consecutive performances at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida, with the second performance on December 15. Taylor performed with the ensemble from 1997 to 2003 and was one of its co-founders. He would subsequently become the frontman of Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster, a Southern metalcore band. He helped with vocals on “When The Sun Sleeps,” the lead single from his last album with the group, 2002’s “The Changing Of Times,” during Taylor’s live comeback.
