UK synth-punk act Powerplant releases new single “Bridge of Sacrifice”

London based synt-punk project Powerplant has released the title track “Bridge of Sacrifice” from the upcoming album of the same name. The full record arrives on March 13, 2026 through Arcane Dynamics.

With this single, Powerplant moves into darker and harsher territory. The song locks sharp synth lines to a fast punk drive and adds clear black metal influences. Icy atmospheres, rougher vocals, and ritual-like tension shape the track. Still, the song keeps its direct and aggressive punch.

Powerplant is the solo project of Theo Zhykharyev. Over time, he has pushed post punk toward more hostile ground. The project already draws from hardcore and experimental electronics, but it now leans harder into extreme metal textures. Because of that shift, “Bridge of Sacrifice” feels like a natural escalation.

The upcoming album “Bridge of Sacrifice” will include eleven tracks. It builds further on the cold and confrontational mood heard in the single. For now, the record points toward a heavier blend of punk, electronics, and black metal.
