Uboa and Whitehorse drop intensely crushing singles from their split “The Dissolution Of Eternity”

Australia’s experimental drone-noise artist Uboa and sludge-doom veterans Whitehorse have released three new singles—“Petplay Polycule Open Fire”, “Wasted Potential” and “The Wait”—from their upcoming split album “The Dissolution Of Eternity,” due out August 29th. You can listen to the tracks below and on streaming platforms.

The release pairs Whitehorse’s signature brand of churning, noise-drenched doom with Uboa’s emotionally harrowing blend of drone, industrial textures, and sonic collapse. Whitehorse contributes two crushing, slow-burning epics pulled from pre-“Death Weight” sessions—tracks that simmer with menace before erupting into devastating heaviness.

Uboa picks up the shattered pieces and rebuilds them into something equally overwhelming. Her side of the split surges through intense walls of noise and bleak soundscapes, slowly unfolding into moments of haunting beauty before falling back into total annihilation. The singles showcase her ongoing evolution as one of the most emotionally raw and sonically bold voices in experimental music.

“The Dissolution Of Eternity” promises to be a challenging but cathartic experience—equal parts chaos and transcendence—from two of Australia’s heaviest underground forces.
