Hard rocking songsmiths Tyketto release the video for second single ‘We Rise’,taken from the upcoming studio album “Closer To The Sun”, set for release Friday, March 20th, via Silver Lining Music. For pre-orders go to this location.
A strong spirit of optimism and forward drive powers the album’s more arena-ready passages, as Tyketto tap back into their classic arena rock roots —most strikingly on ‘We Rise’.
“In the spirit of ‘Don’t Come Easy’ we set out to create a couple of real arena rock anthems and ‘We Rise’ is definitely one of those.” comments vocalist and founding member Danny Vaughn. “It also marked the first real collaborative effort within the band for this album. Harry brought in the guitar riff and the chorus. Chris and I fleshed out the arrangement and the lyrics and before you know it, magic happened! It’s a simple message; when you get knocked down, keep getting back up!”

Throughout “Closer To The Sun”, Tyketto speak to the listener about true life loves, losses and pleasures. From the title track’s triumphant, soaring appreciation of love’s power, to the punchy rawness built to make fists rise and hearts race of “Hit Me Where It Hurts”, to the power balladry of “The Picture”, Tyketto continue to confidently stride the same musical terrain as the likes of Whitesnake and Aerosmith, with the added bonus of being fresh to the ears of many.
Joined by Harry Scott Elliott on guitar, Ged Rylands on keyboards, Chris Childs (Thunder) on bass and Johnny Dee (Doro) on drums, Vaughn leads a lineup that brings exceptional performances and undeniable fire to every track, reaffirming Tyketto as one of rock’s most respected and enduring names. “Closer To The Sun” was recorded across multiple studios in the UK and Europe, including Flip Flop Studios and the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales.

In support of the album’s release, Tyketto have unveiled a run of 2026 dates, beginning with a headline appearance at Planet Rock’s Winter’s End festival in Porthcawl, Wales.
