Many artists and performers attended Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Gala & Grammy Salute to Industry Icons last night (January 31) at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, ahead of tonight’s 2026 Grammy Awards, as per Loudwire. Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll were among the attendees, and they both gave fantastic renditions of Ozzy Osbourne hits! According to Billboard, Machine Gun Kelly‘s rendition of “I Don’t Wanna Stop,” the lead single from 2007’s “Black Rain”, “kicked off with a roaring tribute to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne.” It’s undoubtedly a deeper cut than you may anticipate, but it’s equally worthy of the Prince of Darkness as almost anything else. Reactions have been varied thus far, which is to be expected given how controversial Machine Gun Kelly is and how adored Ozzy is.

After his performance, Machine Gun Kelly handed everything over to Jelly Roll and said, “Rest in peace, Ozzy, bring it home Jelly” according to AP News. Jelly Roll then began “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” the second single from 1991’s “No More Tears”, one of Ozzy‘s most well-known songs and possibly the most poignant for the situation. Similar to MGK and “I Don’t Wanna Stop,” Jelly Roll preserved the essence and aesthetic of the original while adding his own touch.

According to Billboard, he turned to Sharon and Jack Osbourne’s table at the end of his performance and said this.

Rest in Peace to the Prince of Darkness… to a great husband, a great father, a great musician… Ozzy Osbourne.

Billboard also states:

And after, on his way to rejoin his own table, Jelly Roll was stopped by Sharon, who was waiting to embrace him in a long, appreciative hug.

Similar to Machine Gun Kelly, opinions on Jelly Roll‘s performance were split.
