Tombs release new single “The Sun Sets” from upcoming sixth full-length album

New Jersey-based experimental metal band Tombs have released a new single from their upcoming sixth full-length album, “Feral Darkness”. The album is set for release on October 17th via Redefining Darkness Records. The new single titled “The Sun Sets” is now available for listen below and on streaming platforms.

According to frontman Mike Hill, the album represents a deeper descent into the band’s signature cosmic darkness, blending black metal, death-rock, and gothic influences. The material is described as their most introspective and atmospherically layered work yet, shaped by over a decade of sonic evolution.

The band previously released “Ex Oblivion” -EP back in 2022 and their previous full-length “Under Sullen Skies” came out in 2020.
