Tomas “Goatspell” Lindberg of At The Gates has passed away

Tomas Lindbger, lead vocalist of At The Gates, has passed away at 52 years old. He was battling adenoid cystic carcinoma, a form on cancer in the mouth and pallet. With At The Gates, he pioneered what is now known as melodic death metal, or the Gothenburg sound (since they came from that city). The news came from David Isberg of Bloodofjupiter. We wish to extend our sympathies to his family, friends and loved ones.
