Tom Morello says Zack de la Rocha is the greatest frontman of all time

The internet is full with debate about who is the best frontman of all time. Many people will have their own favourites and their own reasons why each is entitled to the crown of best frontman.

In a recent interview with Revolver, Tom Morello, guitarist of metal band Rage Against The Machine, says that his choice for best frontman is Zack De La Rocha of RATM.

“In my opinion, he’s the greatest frontman of all-time. He’s the punk rock James Brown. There’s no one in the history of Western music that has the sort of the totality of spiritual commitment on stage and in the studio as that guy. And it’s matched with a brilliant intellect, and he’s a tremendous musician as well, and it’s really an unbelievable combination just, feel fortunate to be in a band with him.”

Rage Against The Machine were due to head out on their much anticipated return tour in 2020, but unfortunately the COVID pandemic postponed the tour to 2022.
