Tom Morello, guitarist of Rage Against The Machine, returned to the stage at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, on December 3rd, as reported by theprp. This appearance was part of the launch event for Måneskin guitarist Thomas Raggi‘s debut solo album, titled “MASQUERADE.” During the performance, Morello, Raggi, and others performed an instrumental rendition of the protest anthem “Killing In The Name” by Rage Against The Machine to conclude the set. Morello contributed to the production of “MASQUERADE” and featured as a guest on the track “KEEP THE PACK,” alongside drummer Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses. Fan-recorded footage of the performance of “KEEP THE PACK” is available. Previously, Morello collaborated with Måneskin on their gold-certified single “Gossip.” Other notable guests at the release event included Luke Spiller and UPSAHL.

Thomas Raggi is not only the guitarist for Maneskin, but also the founder of the band, together with Victoria De Angelis (bassist); Damiano David (singer) and Ethan Torchio (drummer) joined later. Thomas has played the guitar since he was a child: first classical, then electric. At the age of 12, he joined a band with Victoria. He is inspired by Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin.

On several occasions, he has emphasized that music was not the reason he dropped out of school, although he was unable to continue his studies due to his many commitments. Despite this, he owes everything to music because he has been committed to his art since he was a child, as he said in an interview with Cosmopolitan on February 22, 2019: “My only interest has always been music. I gave up a lot of things to play music.

It cannot be said that he did not succeed, given his successes at a very young age: with Maneskin, Thomas placed second in X Factor in 2017 but triumphed first in Sanremo and then at Eurovision in 2021 with the famous song “Zitti e buoni.Maneskin won everyone over right from the start with their first two albums, “Il ballo della vita” and “Teatro d’ira – Volume 1”.
