Aftonbladet reports that Tobias Forge, the mastermind behind Ghost, has sued a woman in her 40s for allegedly stalking him, as per theprp. The multi-platinum musician started getting texts and WhatsApp chats from the woman last year, according to the Swedish daily. The woman started sending Forge registered mail after he blocked her, including a cellphone that he believes was tampered with. Forge is reported to have received the cellphone and turned it in to the police, even though he did not pick up the registered mail. According to reports, the occurrences occurred between July and October of 2025, and the lady allegedly sent Forge many Swish requests for 5,000 kronor.

Aftonbladet reports that the lady told authorities that she and Forge first met 16 years ago, stay in touch every day, and became engaged in late September, despite Forge’s insistence that he has no known past relationship with the woman in question. Forge reportedly stated that he is not pursuing monetary compensation for the alleged occurrences. According to Aftonbladet, the woman in issue has also been charged with multiple counts of violence against two other people, sexual assault, and unlawful stalking. She has refuted the accusations.

I don’t want to make her life worse. I just want her to leave me alone and not hurt anyone else. – Tobias Forge

The Swedish rock group Ghost was founded in Linköping in 2006. The band became well-known throughout the world after releasing their first album, “Opus Eponymous”, in 2010. “Infestissumam” (2013) and “Meliora” (2015), which peaked at number one in Sweden and number eight in the US, came next. The albums “Impera” in 2022 and “Prequelle” in 2018 came next. “Skeletá”, the band’s sixth studio album, debuted in 2025 and went on to become their first number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. With the exception of the lead vocalist, Ghost’s members are referred to as “Nameless Ghouls” because to their costumed on-stage presence. Known for its “demonic anti-pope” iconography, the lead singer has performed as “Papa Emeritus” on stage.
