Tim Lambesis is consistently under open fire: animal abuse video prompts ex-wife’s statement on alleged abuse

Newly surfaced disturbing footage involving As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis shows apparent animal abuse. In this recently leaked video, Lambesis is shown being physically abusive to a dog before allowing it outside on two different occasions. This clip comes after a surge of unsettling private videos featuring Lambesis that surfaced in late November. Following a departure of members last autumn, Lambesis remained as the sole member of the enduring metalcore band. Interestingly, all of this occurred weeks before a scheduled tour and the release on November 15th of the group’s newest album, “Through Storms Ahead.” Multiple exit statements from the departing members revealed that their principles were challenged, and their integrity was put to the test during their time in the band. Lambesis briefly mentioned the issue in early November, promising to reconstruct the band for the second time since their reunion in 2017. Lambesis’ remarks raised more questions than they resolved, and by late November, videos of him and his then-wife Dany Lambesis started to appear anonymously on the internet. Apparently recorded by home security cameras situated on their property, the videos showed the mentioned couple in intense arguments, including instances where Tim appeared extremely upset, hitting himself, yelling, and walking back and forth. Soon after that video started circulating, Tim released a statement claiming he had submitted a divorce petition against Dany a day before the video was made public.

He also asserted that Dany had subjected him to both physical and mental abuse for three years while stating that he had sought a restraining order against Dany and was in the midst of submitting various forms of ‘evidence’ he alleged to have gathered regarding the claimed abuse to authorities as part of a domestic violence inquiry. In that statement, Tim also noted that his unpredictable actions in the leaked video stemmed from “anxiety driven reactions and defences.” In late October, as rumours started to emerge with the first exits from the latest As I Lay Dying lineup, Dany denied claims of Tim mistreating her. Following the public incident last November, there has been relative calm concerning Lambesis until this past Wednesday, January 15th, when Tim provided his first interview since the leaked footage. In that interview, Tim discussed previous traumas linked to his imprisonment, stemming from being apprehended while attempting to orchestrate a murder-for-hire scheme involving his then-wife in 2013. Tim served multiple years in prison after admitting guilt and was eventually granted parole. The recently revealed interview likewise showed him discussing the exit of his bandmates and also sharing insights about different mental health challenges he states he has faced since his arrest.

Shortly after this, his soon-to-be ex-wife Dany Ciara issued a statement detailing the abuse she has endured from him. The complete statement, which she shared on Instagram and is included below, asserts that at various times she faced intimidation, coercion, and other tactics to silence her in a bid to protect his reputation. She additionally mentioned that she and Lambesis are in the midst of their divorce, making her the third ex-wife. Although she claimed she did not share the videos and requested that they cease, she stated she is now unwilling to remain quiet about the ordeal she went through. As she explained, the declaration she supposedly released in October wasn’t her own wording but was written by Lambesis and his team to safeguard his reputation. Moreover, his recent effort to improve his reputation was loaded with falsehoods, based on her statements. None of this should come as a surprise to anyone who has been tracking the entire Lambesis saga, which featured several lineup breakdowns, leaked footage of him being violent toward Ciara, and the minor issue of attempting to have his first wife murdered by an assassin, resulting in his eventual imprisonment.
