Thrice will mark ten years of their 2016 album “To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere” with a special performance at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, on December 3, 2026.

The band plans to play the album in its entirety at the one-off anniversary show, offering fans a chance to hear the record as a complete live set. Originally released in 2016, “To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere” occupies an important place in the California group’s post-hardcore catalogue.

Presales for the concert have already begun, and the general ticket sale is scheduled for October 22 at 11 a.m. Pacific time. Thrice announced the event through their official Instagram account.

Thrice is an American rock ensemble originating from Irvine, California, established in 1998. The formation of the group was spearheaded by guitarist and vocalist Dustin Kensrue alongside lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi during their high school years.

In the nascent stages of their career, the band garnered recognition for their melodic hardcore punk genre, characterized by heavily distorted guitar work, prominent lead guitar melodies, and frequent alterations in intricate time signatures. This musical style is particularly manifested in their second album, “The Illusion of Safety” (2002), as well as their third album, “The Artist in the Ambulance” (2003).

Their fourth album, “Vheissu” (2005), marked a pivotal evolution in their sound, integrating electronic beats, keyboard elements, and a more avant-garde approach. Subsequently, in 2007 and 2008, Thrice unveiled “The Alchemy Index”, a collection comprising two studio albums that collectively form a four-part, 24-song cycle.

Each of the four six-track EPs of “The Alchemy Index” showcases markedly distinct musical styles, which are predicated on various facets of the band’s artistic aesthetic. These styles are emblematic of the elemental motifs of fire, water, air, and earth, as expressed through both lyrical content and musical composition.

The band’s seventh studio album, titled “Beggars”, was released on August 11, 2009, followed by their eighth album, “Major/Minor”, on September 20, 2011. The most recent albums exhibit a sophisticated amalgamation of the band’s diverse experiments and musical explorations. In 2011, Thrice announced a concluding tour alongside an impending hiatus from their musical endeavors.
