Californian rock band Thrice have just released two new singles, “Holding On” and “The Dark Glow”, in anticipation of their upcoming album “Horizons/West”, due this Friday, October 3 through Epitaph Records.
The new album builds on the concepts first introduced in 2021’s “Horizons/East” and continues the band’s exploration of musical and lyrical depth. The band officially announced “Horizons/West” earlier this summer alongside the lead single “Gnash.” They described the record as a companion piece to to the earlier album that wrestles with questions of identity, social influence, technology, and spiritual awareness.
As part of the rollout, the band has already unveiled their fall tour plans, covering North America, Europe, and the UK. Their U.S. headline run begins October 17 in San Diego and winds through a number of major cities, wrapping up in Anaheim, California. In Europe and the UK, they will perform with support from French rock act Lysistrata.
