The Swedish post-punk quartet Then Comes Silence has become a trio. The band around frontman Alex Svenson has announced this while reviewing the year 2022 on their social media platforms:
“Then Comes Silence have become a three piece. We regret to announce that Mattias has left the group due to personal commitments. It was his own decision to retire from the group and we sincerely respect that. […] Perhaps some day the three musketeers will find a D’artagnan. In the meantime, we will continue to work, perform and write because… That’s what we do. Big love and see you in 2023!”– Then Comes Silence
After the departure of guitarist Mattias Ruejas Jonson, the band now consists of singer and bassist Alex Svenson, guitarist Hugo Zombie and drummer Jonas Fransson.
