Paulina “Pau” Villarreal Velez, the drummer/vocalist for The Warning, passed out during a performance on Wednesday, July 1st, at Skaters Palace in Münster, Germany, as per theprp. The event happened during “DISCIPLE,” eleven songs into the performance. Before skipping any possible encores, the band took a little break and returned to play two songs acoustically without Pau. Since then, the Mexican sisterly alternative music trio has responded to the issue with the following statement, which was released on July 3.
To our fans at Werchter Festival,
We were hopeful that Pau would be ready to perform today, but her illness was tougher than we expected and she needs more time to rest and recover before she can return to stage.
Unfortunately, we have to cancel today’s performance at Werchter Festival.
We’re so sorry to everyone who was planning to see us tonight. We were really looking forward to coming back to Belgium and play for you. Thank you for all the love, patience, and understanding you’ve shown us over the last days.

According to reports, Pau disclosed throughout the set that she was feeling under the weather but was making an effort to continue with the performance. You may see fan-shot video of the event below. Since then, Pau has addressed the issue on social media.
