Standing in the queue to enter one of the biggest venues in Paris – the Zenith – little did the audience know that they’d not only be a part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the metal legends Helloween, but also witness the supporting band Beast In Black performing as a 4-piece band after breaking up with the guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen on exactly the day of the show. Thus that day was not only the celebration of Helloween‘s anniversary but also celebration of a new era for Beast In Black, because, as the classic once said, show must go on. And there indeed was an amazing show, so be welcome to check out the photogallery below:
I must say, I admired guys’ professionalism, because in pretty frustrating and challenging circumstances – and here may I remind you that BIB‘s line-up has been stable almost since the day one of band’s existance, which is for 10 years – they delivered an outstanding performance, saving their trade mark blasting energy for the audience.
In the context of the line-up drama in the beginning of the evening Helloween‘s performance looked…wise. I mean, after 40 years of existance, after all the line-up changes, that night almost all Helloween members, current and former, were on stage together. And it was, without any exaggeration, a very monumental experience to witness this.
