The System Of A Down and Deftones merchandise that was offered at the merch stand during the two bands’ performances at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Ontario earlier this week appears to have been misprinted and will not be formally available anywhere else. That felt like a logical progression, as the shirts had the name of the previously mentioned stadium and the tour was coming to an end. Those looking for a future print run, however, appear to be out of luck. The two shirts, which cost $70 CAD apiece, had the wrong images of the nü-metal and alternative metal giants underneath their respective logos. John Dolmayan, the drummer for System Of A Down, has commented on the shirts’ exclusivity on social media, according to theprp.

Notably, the band’s fan base has speculated that the shirts might have been a reaction to bootleg shirts with incorrect printing that were being sold close to the locations of previous journey stops. No matter how they got there, the shirts are now in high demand as collector’s items, selling for up to $125 USD on eBay. Astute bootleggers seem to have tried to profit off the shirts as well, selling their own prints for significantly less money. The two concerts the two bands performed together, as well as System Of A Down‘s short run of summer stadium performances, came to an end with the stop in Toronto.
