The Sound Of Curves unveils new single “Night Creatures”
US indie rock outfit The Sound Of Curves has shared a new single titled “Night Creatures“. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming EP. Listen to the song below.
Vocalist and guitarist Leonel Pompa comments on the new single: ” ‘Night Creatures’ is about basically getting caught up in the nightlife and partying way too much. Having fun, yet hoping it doesn’t catch up to you. A bit of night owls we were lol”.
Coming out of San Antonio, Texas, the band is back bringing a blend of indie and alt-rock styles. From their self-titled EP in 2010, followed by two full-length albums, the outfit continues to evolve its style of music in 2024. The newly released singles “Simmer” and “Night Creatures” are the first of a fresh music collection on the way.
“We’re really digging the indie pop sound but I also feel the other songs on the EP have more of a harder rock element to it. Still with the same energy but heavier and maybe darker. We try to stay in a line but we’ve always had the philosophy “write what we feel”, Pompa says.
What are the group plans for the rest of this year and 2025? The frontman adds: “The focus is to finish the last two songs on the EP and get the music out there, followed by touring again. We really want to get out there, build, and grow our fan base“.
