The Sound of Animals Fighting have dropped their latest single offering, pairing two tracks—“Bangladesh” and “Chrysanthemum”. Both songs appear as non-sequential highlights from their upcoming LP “The Maiden”, due to arrive on September 12th via Born Losers Records.
These tracks show up in the album’s tracklist as tracks three and five, respectively. The band’s first full-length in 17 years (since “The Ocean and the Sun”) is generating buzz following their 2022 “Apeshit” EP comeback.
So, whether you’ve been spinning “Bangladesh” on repeat or lost in the tones of “Chrysanthemum“, it’s clear these tracks are more than just album teases—they’re the latest offering from a group that’s crafting something intriguing and unexpected.
