In the past few months, Liv Sin have had to deal with two departures: At the beginning of September 2024, guitarist Krille Kellerman left the band, followed by guitarist Jay Matharu at the beginning of January 2025, reducing the quintet to a trio. During some shows in autumn 2024, after the departure of Krille Kellerman, Liv Sin were supported by former Frantic Amber guitarist Isabelle Romhagen, but this seemed to have been a temporary solution, even though Liv Sin stated that “it’s been great sharing the stage with her” and that “our roads will definitely cross again”. Now, the band around Sister Sin frontwoman Liv Jagrell is actively searching for a new lead guitarist:
“LiV SiN is looking for a lead guitarist. We see ourselves as an established hard-working band with a new album in the works, as well as a record label and a booker in the EU. We play modern metal with heavy riffs, grooves and hooky melodies. Recently we have been influenced by bands such as: Orbit Culture, The Halo Effect, In Flames, Sylosis, Heaven shall burn and Whitechapel. What we are looking for is: A dedicated lead guitarist, preferably with touring experience, preferably in the Stockholm area. What is important to us: * Personal chemistry * that you have passion and dedication. We know that it can be tough and takes a lot of time to play in a hard-working band and we need someone who fully understands this. What do you need to play with us: * your own equipment (everything from guitar, in-ear to cases) As we play with in-ear and silent stage you need: * Experience playing with in-ear * Experience playing with click and backing tracks. If you are interested: 1. Start with email us at livsinband@gmail.com. 2. We will send you 3 songs that you can film and send back to us.”
