French dark-progressive metal band The Old Dead Tree, known for shaping France’s gloomy metal scene since the early 2000s, have released their new single “Time Has Come”. The track appears on their upcoming EP “London Sessions”.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with producer François-Maxime Boutault (Behemoth, Dagoba) and mastered by Tony Lindgren (Opeth, Paradise Lost), the song mixes raw energy with deep emotion. It highlights the band’s signature balance of heaviness and melancholy.
“London Sessions” will be released digitally on November 28, 2025 and you can pre-save it here. The four-track EP includes two new songs “Feel Alive Again” and “Time Has Come” and new versions of older material.
Musically, “Time Has Come” combines dark melodies with strong guitar work and a haunting atmosphere. The band manage to sound both aggressive and sensitive, proving that their evolution still connects to the emotional core fans love.
For longtime listeners and newcomers alike, this release captures a group that continues to honour its roots while reaching toward something new.
