In addition to expressing regret once more for the collapse of Jane’s Addiction last week, Dave Navarro gave the strongest indication yet that the band will not be back together. After a protracted illness, he recovered to allow for the first tour in decades with the original lineup, maybe leading to the recording of new music for an album. After a few shows, however, lead vocalist Perry Farrell’s dramatic breakdown on September 13th—during which he attacked Navarro onstage and abruptly ended the show—forced the group to take a break. Navarro mentioned his most recent track, “True Love,” in a recent social media post. The song was made available following the postponement of the concert. Navarro suggested that the band was done for the second time with this statement.
