The Last Ten Seconds of Life announce new album “The Dead Ones” out in April

Pennsylvania deathcore outfit The Last Ten Seconds of Life have announced their eighth full-length album, “The Dead Ones”, set for release on April 17, 2026 via Metal Blade Records. The album follows 2024’s “No Name Graves” and also marks the band’s first release with the label.

The band recorded “The Dead Ones” at Atrium Audio in Pennsylvania with producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland. This time, they focused heavily on guitar, bass, and drum tones to sharpen the overall impact. As a result, the ten-track album leans into a thicker and more forceful sound throughout.

Several guest vocalists appear across the record. “Make It to Heaven” features David Simonich of Signs Of The Swarm, while former Fit For An Autopsy vocalist Nate Johnson guests on “Rat Trap”. Meanwhile, Alan Grnja of Distant appears on “Dollar to a Dime”, and original vocalist Storm Strope returns on the closing track, “XXXXXXXXXX”. Because of this, the album also reconnects different eras of the band’s history.

Lyrically, “The Dead Ones” continues themes of death and rebirth but shifts toward personal experiences and inner struggles. The title track addresses grief and the loss of human connection. According to guitarist Wyatt McLaughlin, the song reflects the desire for one final moment with a lost loved one and how that longing can shape a person.

To support the album, The Last Ten Seconds of Life will join Left To Suffer on a North American winter tour. The run begins on January 22, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia and concludes on February 22, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. Fr3ak will provide support on all dates, with Your Spirit Dies and Larcenia Roe appearing on select shows.
