Memorabilia comes in two varieties: living memorabilia and just plain old memorabilia. That’s the main point of this story because it turns out that the house where Slipknot filmed their “Duality” video is going up for sale, as MetalSucks reports. The Des Moines Register reported that offers would be accepted for the West Des Moines property starting on Tuesday, October 14. The three-bedroom house at 1050 16th Street is currently worth $336,400. When the now-former owners were unable to make a $141,404 back payment on their mortgage from September 2005, it was foreclosed on this past January.

As Slipknot “played” the song, dozens of teenagers descended upon the house, which served as the backdrop for the well-known music video. Destructive teenagers were shown in the video smashing windows, destroying walls, and jumping on automobiles in most of the homes. During filming, a few people suffered minor injuries. “Duality” has garnered media attention twice in a month. It achieved over one billion Spotify plays last month, earning it entry into the “Billions Club.” That watermark was initially encountered by a Slipknot track hit.
