The first ever Kaaos Festival headlined by Leprous and Raised Fist reveals daily schedule

The Kaaos Festival, taking place for the first time in Vaasa at the former Wasalandia amusement park area in Vaskiluoto on July 25-26, has released its daily performance schedules. This two-day new metal festival will bring unforgettable shows, rare performances, and heavy music celebration at its finest over the course of two days.

Friday’s festival culminates with an explosive energy release from Swedish hardcore punk powerhouse Raised Fist, known for their explosive performances. The band has walked its own path from the beginning and is one of our western neighbor’s most respected exports in heavy music.

Other bands performing on Friday include Swedish melodic death metal act In Mourning, releasing their next album “The Immortal” in August; Swedish thrash metal powerhouse The Haunted, releasing their 10th studio album “Songs Of Last Resort” today; rising Finnish melodeath machine Bloodred Hourglass; and long-running black metal band Catamenia, making their return to festival stages.

Saturday concludes with Norwegian progressive metal act Leprous, playing their only Finnish show of 2025 at Kaaos Festival. The band’s set will also be 90 minutes long, which is the longest they have ever played in Finland.

Other bands performing on Saturday include Italian symphonic death metal crushers Fleshgod Apocalypse; English metalcore band Graphic Nature; Swiss alternative metal act Chaoseum; Octoploid, featuring Amorphis musicians Oppu Laine and Tomi Joutsen; rising Finnish deathcore band Assemble The Chariots; and Finnish industrial metal giant Turmion Kätilöt.
