The Devil Wears Prada has debuted a music video for their latest single, “Ritual.” Directed by Wyatt Clough (known for his work with Silverstein and Beartooth), the video marks the first new music release from the Ohio-based metalcore band since their “Salt” EP dropped last August.
Recording sessions for the track were helmed by co-producer Tyler Smyth (of I Prevail and Falling In Reverse fame), while Zakk Cervini (noted for his work with Bring Me The Horizon and Blink-182) handled the mixing. Commenting on the release, the band stated:
“With ‘Ritual,’ we are kicking off the new era of The Devil Wears Prada with a bang. ‘Color Decay’ saw us diving into the emotional struggles so many of our generation are going through, so we wanted to write a song that amped up the energy level. Lyrically, ‘Ritual’ is about the mundane experiences of life, surrendering to the monotony rather than going against it.”
