American metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada have released a new song entitled “Eyes”, offering another snippet from their upcoming ninth full-length album, “Flowers”. The record is slated for launch on November 14 via Solid State Records
The track was released with a music video directed by Wyatt Clough, known for his work with bands like Silverstein and Beartooth. According to keyboardist Jonathan Gering, “Eyes” is about reaching a point in life where long-held beliefs begin to feel hollow, and the struggle to break free from something that’s been working against you.
Guitarist/vocalist Jeremy DePoyster adds that the song channels the desperation to find clarity when anxiety overwhelms and old teachings no longer suffice. Musically, the band frames “Eyes” with contrasting melodic verses and fuzz-driven riffs, positioning the track as a kind of anthem for seeking validation in uncertainty.
This new release comes during a period of transition for the band. Earlier in 2025, they endured the tragic loss of founding drummer Daniel Williams, who died in a plane accident. Bassist Mason Nagy also departed later in July. Despite these changes, the band has continued moving forward with promotion and creative output.
