The Dead Hearts unveils new single “In The Back Seat”
Polish alt rock/metal unit The Dead Hearts has unleashed a new single titled “In The Back Seat“. Watch the official music video below.
“In The Back Seat” is a dark alternative rock/post-grunge single about losing control over your own life — like being a passenger with no say in where the journey takes you. Heavy guitars, a melodic chorus, and an intense breakdown balance atmosphere with raw emotion. The track exudes desperation and power at the same time.
The Dead Hearts are an alternative metal / post-grunge quintet from Lublin, Poland, formed in late 2020 by guitarist Damian Lipiński.
They made their debut in January 2024 with the demo “For What May Never Come”, and in January 2025 they released the single “Enslaved (Break This Cycle)”.
The Dead Hearts‘ sound fuses raw vocals and heavy guitars with emotional intensity, drawing comparisons to acts like Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Deftones, and Alter Bridge.
Their songs blend heavy low-tuned riffs, melodic hooks and introspective narratives about loss, fear, relationships and inner conflict.
