Bay Area thrash veterans Testament are gearing up for a powerful comeback. Their fourteenth studio album, “Para Bellum”, is set to drop on October 10th through Nuclear Blast. The album’s title is Latin for “If you want peace, prepare for war,” reflecting its intense, modern themes.
The new record marks the band’s first full-length release in five years since “Titans of Creation” and features new drummer Chris Dovas, whose speed and precision shape the album’s thunderous sound.
Leading the charge is the breakneck single “Infanticide A.I.”, accompanied by a music video directed by Joey Durango. The track exemplifies the band’s signature ferocity while incorporating fresh energy, demonstrating their continued relevance and evolution.
According to the band, “Para Bellum” blends aggressiveness and groove, balancing urgency with melodic structure. Each track carries its own unique atmosphere, yet together they create a cohesive sonic journey.
