Ted Gardner, co-founder of Lollapalooza, dies aged 74

Music world veteran Ted Gardner, one of the founders of the Lollapalooza festival and manager of bands such as Tool and Queens Of The Stone Age, has died aged 74.

Gardner died at his home in Australia on 28th of December following a long illness.

Anton Newcombe, frontman of Brian Jonestown Massacre – aband Gardner managed – wrote on social media:

“I’m sad to report Ted Gardner, Our manager passed away today surrounded by his loving family. we will miss a great manager, mentor & friend Our condolences to all his family & friends.”
