TAMA Drums officially introduces Anika Nilles signature snare drum

The new Anika Nilles trademark snare drum has been presented by TAMA, as per Blabbermouth. Anika concentrated on three aspects over the course of more than two years of painstaking creation and refinement: a look influenced by her passion for vintage snares, a deep bass end, and clear snare wire definition. The end product is a 14×6.5″ 1.2mm Seamless Aluminium shell with excellent lows, projection, and warmth. The shell has four grooves in the middle and a somewhat larger bearing edge for style, yet these two design elements work together to improve the shell’s natural resonance and stiffness. Anika’s snare provides the ideal balance of presence and clarity when used with Sound Arc Hoops.

A brand-new ‘Mod-Tone Muffler’ allows users to quickly turn the mute on or off and change the pressure with a single dial. Players looking for the grooves and emotion that characterise Anika Nilles’ creativity will find her trademark snare to be perfect as it expresses her musicianship and depth. Through her original compositions, instructional work, and collaborations with some of the most renowned artists in the world, Nilles has gained notoriety on a global scale.
