Synestia return with new single “The Mourning Star” featuring Blake Mullens of Disembodied Tyrant

American deathcore act Synestia are back in full force with their latest single “The Mourning Star”. The song comes with a powerful new music video and features a guest appearance from Blake Mullens of Disembodied Tyrant, who also handled the track’s production, mixing, and mastering.

This marks the latest collaboration between Synestia and Mullens, following their 2024 joint EP “The Poetic Edda”, which was released together with Mullens’s main project. On “The Mourning Star”, the band dives even deeper into their cinematic and aggressive sound, with layers of orchestration and crushing breakdowns supporting Mullens’s signature guttural vocals.
