Swedish pop star sends a Korn classic song viral on TikTok

A Swedish pop sensation is partially to blame for Korn‘s “Freak on a Leash” being popular once more, as per Loudwire. Since 2008, Zara Larsson has been producing charting pop songs. However, one of her tracks, “Lush Life,” from 2015, has experienced a slight comeback due to a TikTok obsession with the choreography of a dance she made to accompany the song. Despite the disparate musical genres, it seems that Korn were the unanticipated recipients of fans on TikTok attempting to make a dance hybrid that somehow worked rather well. It’s easy to understand how something heavier than Larsson‘s pop sounds may be associated with the windmill-style arm movements, which are reminiscent of Pete Townshend’s iconic windmill stage dance. However, it gradually gained traction on the video platform when people began matching Larsson‘s dance to Korn‘s “Freak on a Leash” and tried to mimic the dance to Jonathan Davis and the band’s brutal breakdown.
