Swedish melodic rock band Peterified releases new single “Mill Valley (Coming Home)”, a tribute to their hometown Mölndal

Swedish arena rockers Peterified present their new single “Mill Valley (Coming Home)”, an emotional and cinematic anthem dedicated to their hometown Mölndal, a place of memories, challenges and redemption.

More than just a song, ‘Mill Valley (Coming Home)‘ is a story about confronting the past, rising above pain and confusion, and rediscovering one’s identity. It is a battle cry for anyone who has fallen, lost their way, and found the strength to get back up. Solemn, epic and emotionally intense, it combines the theatrical spirit of Meat Loaf, the melodic drive of Journey and the visceral power of The Who, taking the listener on a journey from darkness to light, from exile to homecoming.

This heartfelt anthem is the third single, accompanied by a video clip, from the band’s debut album, “Trial By Fire”, due out on 24 October.

Produced and mixed by Victor Olsson (Saffire, Gathering Of Kings) and mastered by Grammy winner Thomas ‘Plec’ Johansson (Nestor, The Night Flight Orchestra, Perfect Plan, The Gems, Soilwork, Evergrey and many others), the song combines the quality and power of an international-level production with the sincerity and emotion that have always distinguished Peterified‘s music.

While many Swedish artists have sung about Gothenburg, Peterified choose to highlight Mölndal, their hometown just south of the big city, transforming its streets, waterfalls and lakeside shelters into a vivid emotional backdrop for their music.
