Swedish crust band Bödel have released their new single “Domare och bödel” on streaming services. The track marks the latest preview from the band’s upcoming debut full-length album “Dödsbringaren”, which is set to arrive later this month.

Although Bödel are still a relatively new name for many listeners outside Sweden, the people involved are far from newcomers. The lineup features members with backgrounds in bands such as The Crown, Adept, Pastoratet, Deny, Vänsternäven, The Liptones, and Impious. As a result, the band’s aggressive hardcore sound comes across as sharp, direct, and rooted in years of experience.

Meanwhile, “Dödsbringaren” is scheduled for release on January 30, and has been described by Swedish media as the band’s first full-length statement after an active run of releases and live appearances. For now, “Domare och bödel” sets a clear tone, fast, confrontational, and delivered entirely in Swedish.
