A parade of celebrities participated in special performances during the “FireAid” benefit event for victims of the California wildfires on January 30th, which was held at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. A surprising reunion of the remaining members of Nirvana, along with a changing lineup of guest vocalists, was one of the acts that were showcased. Once again, guitarist Pat Smear, bassist Krist Novoselic, and drummer Dave Grohl shared the stage with guests like Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, and Dave’s daughter Violet. The full expansive performance was streamed live online. Green Day, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others were among the other performances. Fireaidla.org is still accepting donations for the benefit concert.
