“Supermodel”: Måneskin announce new single release for next week

The winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, Måneskin, have announced the release of a new single for next week, entitled “Supermodel“. “Supermodel” will be released on 13 May 2022, one day before the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Måneskin‘s home country Italy. Also the cover artwork of the single has already been revealed:

The announcement of “Supermodel” as a new single comes as a bit of a surprise. Almost a month ago, the quartet released a 1-minute video clip of what looked like a teaser for “Dance On Gasoline“, their protest song against the war in Ukraine. Since then, various fan-made extended versions of the song have been circulating on the world wide web. The complete version of “Dance On Gasoline” could only be listened to at their concerts so far. One fan filmed the performance of the complete version on one such occasion. You can check out the video below:
