Sunburster unearth punishing new track “Fresh Dirt” from upcoming debut album

The Pennsylvania sludge-metal outfit Sunburster has quietly unveiled a new single titled “Fresh Dirt”. The song appears as the third track on their upcoming full-length album “No Semblance of Peaceful Existence”, due out October 24, 2025 via Knife Hits Records.

“No Semblance of Peaceful Existence” marks Sunburster’s first official full-length after years of operating in the underground. The album will be released on limited edition vinyl and digital formats, featuring ten tracks total, with “Fresh Dirt” positioned as track three.

Known for their blend of punishing heaviness, bleak atmospheres, and sludge-infused groove, Sunburster continue to carve a path through extreme music’s darker corners. While “Fresh Dirt” hasn’t been given the spotlight treatment just yet, it’s already offering fans another taste of what’s to come when the album finally drops later this month.

“Fresh Dirt” follows the band’s earlier 2025 singles “Jinn” and “Exile To Elba”, further building the grim and heavy tone set for the full album.
