The French-German artist Sun is releasing her new single, the metal waltz “Warrior Riot Grrrl”. It sets the mood for her long-awaited debut album, which will be released on May 9, 2025 and is called “Krystal Metal”.
Sun wrote “Warrior Riot Grrrl” as a tribute to the Riot Grrrl movement of the 90s. The song is a love letter to all the women who gave her inspiration and strength. The explosive interplay of guitar and drums is bursting with energy, the atmosphere is typical for Sun: feelgood, but brutal!
In the music video, I wanted to show musicians and performers that I love. We shouldn’t be afraid of each other and refuse to compete. Stand together, admire each other and celebrate together in brutal pop style – dark and colorful at the same time.
