It is with great joy and gratitude that the organisers of Summer Breeze announce that the festival is completely sold out for 2026 – earlier than ever before in the history of our festival. As of 1 December, all festival tickets, including camping and access on all days of the event, are sold out.
We are overwhelmed and deeply grateful for the enormous trust our fans have placed in us. Demand this year was exceptional, and the early sell-out announcement leaves us speechless. The anticipation for an unforgettable SUMMER BREEZE 2026 couldn’t be greater.
While full tickets are no longer available, a limited number of day tickets will be available shortly. More information on this will follow in the coming days.
Over two decades, SUMMER BREEZE has developed into Germany’s undisputed largest independent rock and metal festival. With well over 130 bands annually – from underground acts to international scene greats – it caters to a broad spectrum within the metal scene and offers something for fans of all subgenres: from classic heavy metal to death and thrash to metalcore, hard rock and folk metal.
With around 200,000 festival visitors over four and a half days, Summer Breeze Open Air 2026 will once again prove its exceptional position in the European festival calendar.
Despite its size, the festival has retained its family-friendly character and relaxed atmosphere: short distances, nearby camping directly at the campsite and generous rules for bringing food and drinks to the camping area make the experience special.
Many loyal festival-goers celebrate SUMMER BREEZE as a permanent institution — once you’ve been there, you’ll often come back.
SUMMER BREEZE therefore stands not only for music, but also for community, passion and lived festival culture.
