Manchester-based street artist Akse P19 has set up a crowdfunding campaign to paint a mural in honour of the late Prodigy singer Keith Flint. Akse P19 has previously painted murals of footballers Marcus Rashford and the late singer David Bowie, among others.

The artwork is due to be painted on 10th of September, International Suicide Prevention Day, on Beechwood Road in Hackney, London, where The Prodigy played their first gig at the Four Aces club in 1990.

The fundraiser is being run in partnership with charity festival Headstock, with the aim of raising a total of £12,500.

“Keith Flint was one of the most inventive and innovative artists of his generation,” says Atheer Al-Salim, founder of Headstock. “Like many of us, he struggled with his mental wellbeing and tragically took his own life.”
