Michigan-based metalcore band Still Remains have officially wrapped up tracking their long-awaited comeback EP with producer Lee Albrecht of Hollow Front. This will be their first new release since 2013’s “Ceasing To Breathe”.
Announcing the news on social media on July 14th, the band thanked Albrecht for helping them create new material after such a long break. They also noted that they’re now shifting gears into full show prep mode, teasing live performances in the near future.
Originally forming in the early 2000s, Still Remains became known for blending metalcore aggression with melodic hooks, releasing three full-length albums before breaking up in 2008. After reuniting in 2011, they released “Ceasing To Breathe” two years later but have remained relatively quiet on the recording front—until now.
With tracking complete, the EP is moving into its final production stages. Though no official release date or tracklist has been revealed, fans can expect to hear new music soon. The band’s latest update suggests that live shows are also on the horizon, which may give fans a first taste of the new material.
