British hardcore outfit Still In Love have quietly dropped their latest song, “Preserve & Cherish,” featuring guest vocals from Architects‘ Sam Carter. It appears as track three on their upcoming debut album “Recovery Language”, which is slated for release on September 5th. The song follows earlier singles “Inherit” and “Nervous Impulse” and already hints at the band’s knack for pairing raw, emotional intensity with thoughtfully arranged soundscapes.
The band features seasoned veterans from the heavy music scene, including Nick Worthington (Dead Swans), Billy Trevey and Mark Ringrose (Throats), Mophead (Brutality Will Prevail), and former Bring Me The Horizon guitarist Curtis Ward. Together, they’ve created a project that’s as emotionally raw as it is sonically punishing.
“Recovery Language” promises eight tracks exploring themes of resilience, introspection, and catharsis—illustrated by song titles such as “Tell The Truth,” “Feathered Nest,” “Inherit,” and “Pillar Of Strength.” Early signs suggest the album will stay true to the band’s hardcore roots while expanding into emotionally charged storytelling, with Carter’s appearance adding a compelling collaborative twist.
