UK post-hardcore supergroup Still in Love has unveiled a new single titled “Inherit”, taken from their upcoming debut album “Recovery Language”, set for release on September 5th via Church Road Records.
The band is made up of seasoned veterans from the heavy music scene, including Nick Worthington (Dead Swans), Billy Trevey and Mark Ringrose (Throats), Mophead (Brutality Will Prevail), and former Bring Me The Horizon guitarist Curtis Ward. Together, they’ve created a project that’s as emotionally raw as it is sonically punishing.
According to vocalist Nick Worthington, “Inherit” stands as one of the album’s central tracks. The song tackles the theme of breaking generational cycles of trauma, delving into personal triggers, confronting deep-rooted issues, and dismantling toxic behavior patterns.
Still in Love previously introduced their sound with the “Withdrawal Symptoms” EP and the single “Nervous Impulse”, laying the groundwork for a distinct audio-visual identity. The upcoming album was produced by Lewis Johns, known for his work with Rolo Tomassi and Employed To Serve.
