Finnish metal band Sorretun Voima has released a new single titled “Pohjalta pintaan”, which features a guest appearance from Balboa Son. The track is now available to stream below and on major platforms.

With “Pohjalta pintaan”, Sorretun voima leans into a heavy yet direct sound. The song blends down tuned metal riffs with hip hop driven vocals, while the lyrical focus stays grounded and personal. As the title suggests, the track deals with pushing through low points and forcing a way back up, which has become a recurring theme in the band’s recent material.

Balboa Son’s feature adds a different vocal texture to the song, yet the collaboration feels natural rather than forced. Because of that, the track moves smoothly between metal and rap without losing its momentum.

Sorretun Voima has built its reputation on mixing metal, rap, and Finnish social commentary without overpolishing the results. Over time, the band has focused more on raw energy and clear messages, and this new single follows the same path. While no further release details have been confirmed yet, “Pohjalta pintaan” suggests that more new material is likely on the way.
