Sonata Arctica reveal North American headlining run in Fall

Finnish power metal veterans Sonata Arctica are set to make a triumphant return to North America this fall. In addition to their previously announced support slot on Symphony X’s tour, the band has confirmed a string of five headline shows in late September and early October, celebrating their latest album, Clear Cold Beyond.

Joining them for the entire run will be American instrumental metal outfit Powerglove, promising a night of high-energy performances and melodic fury. The headline trek kicks off September 29th in Toronto at The Mod Club, followed by stops in Montréal, New York City, Boston, and wrapping up October 4th in Baltimore.

These headline shows come hot on the heels of their tour supporting Symphony X, which will see the band hitting major cities across the U.S. and Canada. That leg begins September 4th in Stroudsburg, PA and includes dates in Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, and more, finishing up just before the headline dates begin.

“Clear Cold Beyond”, released in 2024, saw Sonata Arctica return to their power metal roots with a fresh surge of energy. Fans can expect a mix of classic favorites that haven’t been played live in years, alongside new material from the latest album.
