Soil bassist Tim King has confirmed that the band will finally enter the studio in September 2025 to record new music—their first full album since 2013’s “Whole”. The long-awaited sessions come after a packed 2024, which saw the band embark on a sold-out UK tour, hit major European festivals, and reunite on the road with The Union Underground for their first joint tour in over two decades.

While the band has kept fans engaged with releases like 2023’s “Restoration” and 2022’s “Play It Forward”, this will mark their first set of original songs in 12 years. King admitted the delay was due to distance between members and their growing commitments outside Soil—including frontman Ryan McCombs’ return to Drowning Pool.

Despite the challenges, the band is in a strong place creatively and personally. Once recording wraps, Soil plans to hit the road hard in 2026 to support the new album and reconnect with fans around the world.
