Slipknot’s Eloy Casagrande shares drum-cam video from London concert

Slipknot drummer Eloy Casagrande has released drum-cam footage of “Liberate” performed at London’s O2 Arena on December 21, 2024 and you can check it out below.

In the January 2025 cover story of Modern Drummer magazine, Casagrande discussed his Sepultura replacement, Greyson Nekrutman, who joined the band at the same age as Eloy did in 2011. The Brazilian musician stated: “When I see him playing, I can remember myself in the same position. He’s an excellent drummer whom I used to follow on social media for his jazz and solo performances.“

Casagrande also detailed his joining Slipknot: “Everything started in late 2023 when I received a call from Slipknot’s manager about an audition. With Sepultura deciding to stop, it was natural to continue my career elsewhere. The audition was secret, and even Sepultura didn’t know about it.“
